|FAT TIRE Course Information Page
The course is a mixture of rolling logging
and gas roads and hand-cut single track
trails. The 14 mile loop races through
the hills of the Clear Creek State Forest.
The trail has rocky sections requiring
some unique riding skills and hammering
1.5 and 2 mile continuous climbs that
wind you through some pristine forests.
All the while, in the mid June sunshine,
the Laurel bushes sraping your elbows
on each side are in full-bloom with the
delicate white flowers.
This is a must see ride for anyone who
loves to experience it all on a mt bike.
